Project: The Jordan brand is making their mark in Europe this November by opening a Jumpman store in the heart of Paris. The SET AMS team has partnered with Jordan in various ways for the past year helping them bring this concept to life. Our main focus has been to elevate Jordan’s in-store service proposition. We did this by developing the consumer journey and offering for the Atelier Jordan, a brand studio within the store, a “makers lab” if you will, solely focused on customization. Upon entering the retail space, the consumer is welcomed and subtly guided to the Atelier by athletes wearing customized apparel and 'Flight Cards' next to customizable items. These cards highlight the possible choices such as laser engraving sneakers or heat pressing a tee, inviting the consumers to select an item and experience the customization journey. The whole experience is elevated to a premium level through the use of quality order cards that serve as collectible take aways for the consumer housed in an envelope with custom gold Jumpman stamps once the order is complete. We also created the Atelier Handbook which is a luxury book that introduces the idea of customization and creates a comprehensive overview with all things customization in one place. Through beautifully shot photography (most of which we shot here in the studio!) hand drawn illustrations alongside easy to navigate copy, we provide examples of how embellishment enhances the product, and deepens their relationship with the brand in a personal way. The highlight of the project will be seeing a year's worth of planning and development come together as we train the staff on how to deliver this journey in a superior way.
